SenSignal Home

Home Internet. $0 a month.

If SenSignal reaches your home, you pay only for the equipment needed to connect. Standard installation and recurring Internet access have no monthly charge.

SenSignal Home isn’t available at any address yet. We’re preparing a first pilot on private property in Michigan. Interest from your neighborhood helps decide where we build first.

How it works

  1. 1

    Check your address.

We’ll determine whether your home can connect to nearby SenSignal infrastructure.

  2. 2

Buy your Home Kit at cost.

You pay only for the equipment required for your installation, with every component listed.

  3. 3

    We install it.

Standard installation is included at no charge.

  4. 4

    Stay connected for $0/month.

SenSignal operates the network and provides Internet access with no monthly Internet fee.

SenSignal Home is available only at qualifying addresses and depends on local coverage, network capacity, safe installation conditions, and operating funding.

What you pay

One disclosed equipment cost. Nothing monthly.

The Home Kit is the equipment that connects your home: usually an outdoor receiver, a home router, power, and mounting hardware. Your quote lists each part at its actual cost, and you own it.

Early planning estimates: about $60–$130 for homes close to a SenSignal site, about $150–$300 for a typical rooftop installation. Not quotes; your survey sets the real kit.

Address check

Never buy before we confirm we can reach you.

Every address gets an honest answer before any purchase. When we aren’t sure, we survey first instead of guessing.

  • Available

SenSignal Home appears available at this address.

  • Survey required

You’re near SenSignal coverage. A site survey confirms the equipment first.

  • Waitlist

Not available yet. Your request helps decide where we build next.

  • Infrastructure required

Reaching you needs a new hub or unusual construction. You’re never charged surprise construction fees; it waits for a funded build.

Address checks and the waitlist open soon. There’s no SenSignal Home coverage yet. The address check and waitlist will open here once our intake service is live.

Sponsor a SenSignal Home

A sponsor can cover a household’s Home Kit, making hardware, installation, and Internet all $0. Priority programs may focus on students, seniors, and low-income households, always with published eligibility rules.

Your neighborhood decides where we build

Every waitlisted address is network-planning data. We build hubs where one site can serve the most homes per dollar. How neighborhoods get SenSignal.

SenSignal Home FAQ

Is Internet really $0 per month?

That is the SenSignal Home plan: no recurring Internet subscription charge. You pay the disclosed one-time cost of the Home Kit your location needs, unless a sponsor covers it.

Why do I have to buy equipment?

The equipment connects your home to SenSignal infrastructure. Charging only its cost lets SenSignal expand without adding a recurring household bill.

Is installation free?

Standard installation is included. Locations that need unusual construction stay on the infrastructure waitlist until SenSignal or a sponsor funds the work.

Is there a data cap?

The intended model has no fixed data cap and no overage fees. SenSignal may use fair network management so one connection can’t degrade service for everyone. See the network management and draft Broadband Facts pages.

Do I need a credit check or a contract?

No credit check, no Social Security number, and no long-term contract.

Can I use my own router?

At first, the supported Home Kit handles the network-facing connection. Advanced users may later be able to put their own router behind it.

Can renters sign up?

Yes, with the property owner’s permission for mounting and cabling.

Does it work during a power outage?

Not automatically. Your equipment and the shared network need power. Critical SenSignal hubs are planned with battery backup; you can add your own backup power at home.

Do I need the SenSignal app?

No. SenSignal Home is ordinary home Internet over Wi‑Fi and Ethernet. The app is optional.

Our promise

No bait and switch.

No monthly Internet fee. Equipment sold at disclosed cost. Availability depends on SenSignal coverage, capacity, and continued network operation. “Free” is the product, not a trial that turns into a subscription.

We say “while SenSignal Home service remains available at your address”, not “free forever”, because honest promises are the ones we can keep.
