Host a Location

Help bring free Internet to your neighborhood.

Cafés, libraries, churches, apartment buildings, nonprofits, and property owners can take part at whatever level fits, from listing guest Wi‑Fi to hosting a neighborhood hub.

Verified Host

Keep your existing Wi‑Fi. You confirm your network name, access method, and hours, and your listing shows “Verified Host” with when you last updated it.

SenSignal doesn’t manage your network, and the listing says so. Owner verification isn’t a security verification.

Once your listing is live, print a sign whose QR code opens it. Signs never contain your Wi‑Fi password.

SenSignal Managed

SenSignal-managed hotspots with live health checks, client isolation, and managed security policy. Not yet available to new hosts. Verified Hosts will hear first.

Ways to host

Start simple. Go further only if you want to.

Most hosts stay at the first step, and that’s great. Sites with height, power, or a good connection can help carry free Internet to the homes around them.

  1. 1

    Verified Host

You confirm your listing: venue, how guests get on your Wi‑Fi, and your hours. No equipment changes.

You contribute: accurate details about Wi‑Fi you already offer

  2. 2

    Managed Host

    Later

SenSignal runs a separate public Wi‑Fi network at your site, isolated from your own network, with monitoring.

You contribute: indoor space, power, and an authorized connection

  3. 3

    Relay Host

    Later

Your site also passes SenSignal traffic between nearby sites over wireless or wired links.

You contribute: roof or mounting space with line of sight

  4. 4

    Gateway Host

    Later

Your site connects part of the SenSignal network to the Internet through capacity you’re authorized to share.

You contribute: spare bandwidth your provider agreement allows, or a sponsored line

  5. 5

    Home-Ready Hub

    Later

A rooftop site certified to serve nearby homes with SenSignal Home, with the capacity and maintenance that needs.

You contribute: elevation, power, and long-term site access

How verification works

  1. 1

    Find or suggest your location

Your venue may already be listed as Public Wi‑Fi. If not, you can suggest it.

  2. 2

    Claim it

Tell us who you are and give a business contact.

  3. 3

    Verification

SenSignal confirms you represent the venue. Internal review details stay private.

  4. 4

    Confirm your details

Network name, how guests get access, and hours.

  5. 5

    Verified Host

Your listing shows “Verified Host” with the date you last updated it.

What you’ll need

  • Guest Wi‑Fi you already offer to the public or to customers
  • Authority to represent the venue
  • Accurate access instructions (open, ask staff, customers only, sign-in page, or a password you choose to publish)
  • Keeping details current when they change

Our promises to hosts and guests

  • SenSignal never gives hosts information about visitors.
  • Sponsorship never changes ranking or verification.
  • Only passwords you choose to publish are shown.
  • No ads before connecting, ever.
  • Shared bandwidth only where your provider agreement allows it, with a guaranteed reservation for your own use.
  • Public SenSignal traffic stays on its own isolated network, separate from yours.
