Preview. SenSignal hasn’t launched yet. The apps are in development and these pages are a draft.

Legal

Privacy Policy

Short version: no account needed, no browsing history, and most of your data never leaves your phone.

Draft: not yet in effect. This privacy policy is a working draft written from the app’s current behavior. It must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and the bracketed details filled in, before SenSignal launches.

Who we are

SenSignal is operated by [legal entity name and address]. Contact: [privacy contact address].

What we never collect

  • Your browsing history or DNS history
  • Contacts or advertising identifiers
  • Continuous or background location
  • Lists of Wi‑Fi networks your phone sees nearby
  • Private Wi‑Fi passwords

SenSignal Home requests

If you check an address, join the waitlist, or apply for SenSignal Home on this website, these apply. Your address is never shown publicly; you receive only a reference number.

DataWhere it livesUse
Address you enter in the SenSignal Home address checkUsed only to answer that check; not stored or sent backEach check is separate
Home waitlist or application: name, email, phone (optional), address, property details, mounting permission, availabilityStored encrypted by SenSignal; reviewed only by authorized SenSignal staffOnly after you consent; used to plan service and contact you about SenSignal Home

Waitlist addresses are also used in aggregate to decide where to build. How long these requests are kept, and how to ask for deletion, is [retention period and deletion process to be confirmed].

Accounts

SenSignal works without an account. Optional accounts are not available yet. If they’re added, this policy will describe exactly what they store before they launch.

Analytics

The app does not currently include analytics. If privacy-preserving product analytics are added, they will never include exact location with each event, and every field will be listed in this policy first.

SenSignal Managed hotspots

SenSignal-managed hotspots send health information about the hotspot itself (for example, whether it’s online and its security status). This is information about the equipment, not about what you do online. SenSignal does not log the websites you visit.

Networks SenSignal doesn’t manage

When you join a venue’s or third party’s Wi‑Fi, that operator’s own practices apply. SenSignal can’t see or control them.

Sponsors

Sponsors may be credited at a location. They never receive your data and never affect ranking or verification.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics, or third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. The SenSignal Home page loads one small script from this site to run the address check and forms; it sends what you type only to SenSignal’s API when you press a button. Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs [retention period to be confirmed].

Retention and your choices

  • Change history retention (off, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or until you delete it) in Profile → Privacy & Security.
  • Clear all local data at any time from the same screen.
  • Reports and suggestions you submitted are kept for moderation for [retention period to be confirmed].
  • To ask about data SenSignal holds, contact [privacy contact address].

Changes

We’ll update this page and its date before any change in what we collect takes effect.

Effective date: not yet in effect.
